It always seems to be a fun concept for me pitting the Diesel locomotive with the Electric Locomotive. Although both have their own unique charm but their battle of aggression since eternity have been always intense. Some say Electric cannot outmatch the aggression of Diesel engine while some fanatics say that the charm of an electric loco gives it an edge over Diesel locomotive. Now whatever the pundits may comments, My inclination has been equal to both these stalwarts. So I present a unique yet fun concept of a short battle of aggression where in the Ashram Express takes on with Ajmer Jan Shatabdi Express. The legendary Ashram Express here is led by Abu Road WDM-3A twins #16385 & #16781 as it showcases the diesel aggression at Shahabad Mohammadpur station by showcasing a scintillating 110+ km/hr speed show. Really upon seeing the high speed pass by of Ashram Express, it was like witnessing the old glory days of the Ashram Express when it used to be hauled by ABR Twins back in the day. Finally after the Ashram Express had made it's presence felt at SMDP station, in came the moment when the Ajmer Jan Shatabdi showcased it's metal with the power of GZB's white beast ie. WAP-5 at it's helm. GZB WAP-5#30163 led 02066 Ajmer Jan Shatabdi Express sprints past Shahabad Mohammadpur station at over 110+ km/hr speed as it literally challenges and threatens the aggression of the Diesel hauled Ashram Express. Now who wins this battle of aggression? You decide..
