Tunisia, Saudi Arabia close financing for 100MW solar plant

Construction on the Kairouan Solar PV project is set to begin in a month, after officials from Tunisia and Saudi Arabia, along with representatives from Dubai-based AMEA Power, closed financing for the 86-million U.S. dollar plant. The power station is expected to begin operations in the fourth quarter of 2024.
