The Ford Mustang GT4 is an evolution of the 2015/2016 Ford Mustang Shelby GT350R-C used in IMSA’s Continental Tire Sports Car Challenge. Developed by Multimatic Motorsports for Ford Performance in order to race under the GT4-class rules, the Mustang GT4 had its competition debut in 2017 during the Daytona 24 weekend. It's powered by a Roush-Yates Engines custom built dry-sumped 5.2L V8 with cross-plane crankshaft which produces around 580 hp but due to the GT4 BoP (Balance of Performance) the max power decreases to around 450 horses. The gearbox is a Holinger RD-6 sequential transmission with paddle shifters. Watch it in action on the Goodwood's hillclimb course during the 2017 Festival of Speed. #FordMustangGT4 #MustangGT4 #MustangGT350R -------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- I have to thank my friend and youtuber NM2255 (/user/NM2255) for the great collaboration done during the event.
