Puto is PH steamed rice cake/muffin and Siopao is the Filipino indigenized version of the Cantonese steamed bun. Combine the two, you get PUTOPAO, a light and fluffy steamed rice cake made easier by using all purpose flour with savoury pork filling and topped with cheese.
