In this video I show you how to cook Fried Cobra from MiiTopia. Is it actually cobra? Or maybe it's something else? Whatever it is, it's one of my favorite dishes of all time, and I cook it at least a couple times a month. Here's how you make it. ✦ Subscribe: http://bit.ly/2keGDCn ✦ Support on Patreon: https://www.patreon.com/jammycooks89 ✦ Twitter: https://twitter.com/jammycooks89 ✦ Instagram: http://bit.ly/2lgDqlP Venom Dipping Sauce: 2 TBL raspberry jam 2 TBL brown sugar 2 TBL Worcestershire sauce 2 TBL ketchup 2 TBL apple cider vinegar Hot sauce, to taste Salt + Pepper, to taste Fried Cobra: 4 chicken thighs 1/4 tsp kosher salt 1/4 tsp garlic powder Few shakes MSG, optional 3 TBL lemon juice Cornstarch, as needed Canola oil, for frying For Venom Dipping Sauce: In a small pan, place jam, brown sugar, Worcestershire sauce, ketchup, and apple cider vinegar. Once it’s boiling, add as much or as little hot sauce as you like. Season to taste with salt and pepper. Place in a small bowl in the fridge until ready to eat. For Fried Cobra: Place chicken thighs in a medium bowl. If they are large, slice them in half. Add lemon juice, salt, garlic powder, MSG and any other seasonings you like. Mix well to combine. Refrigerate for 30 minutes to a few hours. Lightly dust chicken thighs in cornstarch. Set aside on a plate as you heat oil up to 350. Fry pieces a few at a time. Don’t crowd the pot. Turn every couple minutes with tongs so they cook evenly. Cook for 8-10 minutes or until they are cooked through. Allow to drain on paper towels. Serve hot with French fries and Venom dipping sauce.
