    I think you are buying the dip in L&G; I hold their shares too, they are a great dividend stock I think the current yeield id="hidden1" class="buttons"> is about 8%
    I take the view that if I am dripping the dividends back in to a stock I am not too worried if the overall growth is at or slightly below inflation because the overall return will beat inflation comfortably. The share price has been comfortably above £3 a share and it will get there again sometime. I have held my shares in them for 20 years (I have a few years on you Toby!)
