This transformation was so much fun! We took my client from a warmer blonder to a contrasted, ashy balayage! I started by doing a full head of foils so I could get as blonde as possible. I ALWAYS start with 10 vol no matter the level of darkness I am working with! With proper sectioning and saturation you are usually able to achieve a lightness similar to using a 20 - 30 vol but without the damage! As you can see here I got her to a level 9 - 10 To tone her I used Revlon colour excel. I did 3 separate toners for zone 1 , 2 and 3 to achieve a really blended look while eliminating all of the brassiness from her previous colour! Let me know what you think of this video !
