Ditching An Ex

The plaintiff claims he loaned his live-in ex-girlfriend money. However, now that they’ve broken up, he can’t get his money back. He is suing her for the money he loaned her. The defendant, who is now married, believes she doesn’t owe the plaintiff any money. She is countersuing for harassment. Case 29-243
