More proof that I don't just know how to fly foamie EDFs... I actually spent more time with nitro and gas plane than anything else in my RC experience. I prefer the ease of foam electric planes and will continue to keep those in my hangar from here on out because of this... However I still know how to work with all of this stuff and help people out whenever I get the chance! Its fun to do and nice to be able to help others with the knowledge that I have gathered over the years. Here I was able to help one of the younger club members, Mike, get his gas powered AT-6 Texan into the air the for the first time. His radio was a little messed up since coffee had been spilled on it which cause the trim to get stuck. Thankfully he had Nate and I there to assist. We got the plane down and I was able to get the radio fixed later on for the rest of the days flying. He now has a new DX9 though...
