As comic book historian Mike Conroy so eloquently puts it, “what started out as a replacement costume for Spider-Man turned into one of the Marvel web-slinger's greatest nightmares." In this video, I want to discuss the origin of Venom’s creation, the real-life decisions that not only led to the introduction of the symbiote, but of Eddie Brock himself, and how this one-off Spidey costume transformed into one of Marvel’s most dangerous and deadly anti-heroes.
