Mrs. Saranya Lavapirathan has more than six years of experience in the field of higher education and is currently employed as the Assistant Director at The Open University of Sri Lanka's Ampara study center. She has experience working as a demonstrator at both the University College, Rathmalana and the Sri Lanka Advanced Technological Institute (Hardy, SLIATE). She has four years of experience working in the corporate sector. She earned a merit pass in her MBA program at London Metropolitan University, a postgraduate degree in science and technology of herbal products from the University of Sri Jayewardenepura, and a first-class B.Sc. in agriculture science from the Eastern University of Sri Lanka. In addition she is also a certified life coach with a qualification from the Sri Lanka Institute of Training and Development.
