The Dominican Republic Sets New Record With 5.3 Million Visits

This week the Dominican Republic’s Ministry of Tourism reported that the country received 5.3 million visits in the first six months of 2023, a new record. The number represents an increase of 10% from 2023 and 20% compared to 2019 (pre-COVID). The tourism minister projects that the country will hit 10 million visits by year-end.
