Cast Iron Wednesday, December 23, 2020 - two days until Christmas. Tonight we're showing off several vintage cast iron pans from a late, great American foundry. I'll be breaking in a Birmingham Stove & Range 12 inch cast iron skillet with a classic French (and Canadian) Christmas dish: tourtiere -- a pork and beef meat pie. Tourtiere is traditionally served on Christmas Eve, and there's certainly nothing wrong with a tradition involving meat and pastry. This is YouTube Live, and as always comments are encouraged!
