ACTION PACKED RODEO (FORT WORTH STOCKYARDS)

The rodeo at the Fort Worth Stockyards is the world's only year round rodeo. The rodeo is held every Friday and Saturday in the Fort Worth Cowtown Coliseum. The rodeo events include: bull riding, tie down roping, team roping, barrel racing, bronc riding, and break away roping. As soon as we drove through the gates of the Fort Worth Stockyards, we felt the energy. There were people riding horses, music was playing, and people were lined up for the rodeo. We didn't have much time to explore the area before the rodeo because we had to buy tickets for the rodeo. The rodeo itself was entertaining. It lasted around 2 hours and there was constant action happening throughout. Ali had never experienced a rodeo before, so it was his first rodeo experience. After leaving the Cowtown Coliseum, we walked around the stockyard area. There was live music, plenty of restaurants, shops, and activities. We ate lunch at the Love Shack. The food was good and there was live music happening. We also walked around the shops and looked at the souvenirs.
