@davidh24209 months agoI always get back "close" to the ship an hour ahead of time. I have a visual of ship? ok, can do shopping, hit a bar, whatever. The best line I've heard is from a Captain on NCL. He was speaking about being on time. He said "if you are 5 minutes late getting back, I suggest you have your camera's out. You are going to get a fantastic picture of my ship sailing out of the harbor"! ...5

@Ozzy_20149 months agoCharge late pier runners $100/ 15 mintues after the 1st 15 without notice given of an actual emergency. Should motivate them to be more responsible. If they hit 30 mins up the rate to $500.00 after that if they can still make the ship after 45 mins to an hour I would be shocked. Not as shocked mind you as they will be when they sober up and see the bill. 😂 ...9

@unlvqasl9 months agoThe ship should leave at precisely the time they say they will leave even if the late comers are running down the dock. It will teach them a lesson that you should be on time. I have a friend who does a whole lot of cruising. They told us the story of a cruise that was doing a transatlantic with the last stop on the American side of the pond in one of the Caribbean islands. A couple went to the beach so they took what everyone takes to the beach - no passport, no credit card, no other clothes. The missed the ship. The next stop was somewhere in Europe. So they were stuck on the island w/o passport, credit card or other clothes. The could not fly out to anywhere w/o a problem because the didn't have a passport. W/o a credit card they found it difficult to buy anything. They deserved it but I bet that they will never do that again. DON ...1

There are too many reminders to let u know the time the ship is leaving and if u are with others why are other ppl not paying attention to time either.
