The intention is to study the botanical pharmacy behind the components from each elixir and how they may affect your body for dance/movement, some containing high levels of cineole conducing positively lungs and breathwork. MIRAMAR TOKATLI - MIDDLE EASTERN BELLY DANCE Miramar is an Oriental dance artist, teacher, and choreographer based in Brisbane. Miramar has grown up in The Middle East in Syria and traveled around its beautiful countries like Lebanon, Jordan, and Iraq. Her dancing journey has started since her early childhood learning belly dance roots and traditional dance of the different regions socially and professionally. 12 years ago she started teaching and performing in the Middle East and then moved to Australia. Her dance style is influenced by the traditional dances of her country like Dabke, Samai, Tarrab, and Bedouin and also by the natural flow of the dance form as danced authentically. In the Middle Eastern Style workshop, Mira will share the oriental belly dance and Dabke techniques and combos focused on finding rhythms and movements, keeping the natural flow on the dance floor with group and improvisation drills, creating a connection with its essence and practice using body and facial gestures to express yourself and engage your audience.
