Starting off as a two-man experimental band led by Jerry, the group evolves within the universe it has created in each album, paying homage to the French language and to the memories that created the band. Heady melodies, versatile rhythms, and powerful lyrics await you! Some words of Jerry about the album's concept: "A decade after "Propagande Erogène", Les Chants de Nihil returns to recount the tragic tale of a collapsing totalitarian state. This opus revisits the eternal opposition between idealists and materialists in an epic adventure sung entirely in French. Throughout the eight tracks of the album, the protagonist slips from power into exile, from vengeance to sacrifice. The music – ferocious and hysterical black metal – is lead by the story into moments of contemplative respite. The group remains faithful to their melodic approach to composition, but here they have above all honoured fast tempos and bellicose vocals."
